1.What are the common pests and diseases in hydroponic systems?
Algae growth: Algae may grow in the nutrient solution when there is sufficient light. Algae will compete with plants for nutrients and oxygen, and may also clog pipes.
Root rot: If the nutrient solution does not contain enough dissolved oxygen, the temperature is too high, or there are pathogens, the plant roots may rot.
Whiteflies and aphids: These pests may fly into the hydroponic system from the outside, suck plant sap, and affect plant growth.
